Raw Material Study

To know the available mineral resources, quantity and quality wise, is of utmost importance for a project. Gathering this knowledge is the target of a Raw Material Study.

Industrial plants in the non-metallic mining industry or in the building materials industry require large amounts of raw materials like limestone, clay, gypsum, etc. The location of the quarry of the main component is in most cases decisive for the plant location. Only additives which are used in quite small quantities are transported to the plant.

Within a Raw Material Study, the mineral resources are investigated and analyzed. The gained data are processed and serve as input for further project development, e.g. process calculations.
